Portugal Douro
Für die Erzeugung des Duas Quintas unterhält das Portweinhaus Adriano Ramos Pinto zwei Weingüter. Die 80 Hektar große Quinta da Ervamoira liegt unweit der spanischen Grenze am Rio Côa im Douro Superior. Hier sind die Berge am höchsten, die Tage am wärmsten, das Wetter am trockensten. Die 50 Hektar große Quinta dos Bons Ares liegt etwa 650 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel; kühler und etwas feuchter als Quinta da Ervamoira bietet der Ort einmalige Voraussetzungen für die Rotweinproduktion. Deswegen wurde hier ein neuer, moderner Keller mit temperaturkontrollierten Edelstahlgärbehältern und kühlem, feuchten Holzfasskeller errichtet.
